Desktop Summit: beer and vegan food

Should you visit Desktop Summit and Berlin the coming week(end) you might be interested in some things I found while planning my stay.

  • 15. Internationales Bierfestival: 300 breweries from 86 countries, 2,000 different beer specialities, 18 stages with live music and performances, free admittance. Anything else to say? :) 2011-08-05 – 2011-08-07 (Fri: 12-24 Sat: 10-24 Sun: 10-22)
  • For the vegan Android users out there I stumbled over an app with nice tipps and search function for restaurants. Berlin Vegan Guide

I read something about the Fernsehturm being closed, but I can not find it anymore, so not sure about it.

I am looking forward to a week in Berlin meeting friends and meeting so many OSS people at the Desktop Summit.

    Er, yes, that was in July and it’s now August. Unless that’s a mistype for “-08-” because August 7th is indeed a Sunday.

    Thank you for spotting this. Corrected. At least it really is in August, after reading you comment I feared it was in July and I raised false hopes :)
